Joey | Recital Portraits at Mixteco Ballet Folklórico de Houston

I had the privilege to attend the Winter Recital for 2016 and do recital portraits at Mixteco Ballet Folklorico de Houston, where Joey is learning the Mexican traditional folklore dances.

It’s exciting to see so many little children embracing their culture and enjoying it. My congratulations go to all the parents who see a benefit in instilling their children their roots.

This performance by Mixteco Ballet Folklorico de Houston was directed by Rosalia Chapa and Jose Sada.

Joey performed a dance representative of the State of Guanajuato, called Bien Arribeño.

I love photographing cultural and diverse backgrounds that we have created as a human race. We come together through cultural enrichment.

Tuve el privilegio de ir al Recital de invierno del 2016 de Mixteco Ballet Folklorico aqui en Houston, donde Joey esta aprendiendo las tradiciones del folclor Mexicano.

Es emocionante ver como los niños pequeños abrazan su cultura y hasta la disfrutan. Les doy mis felicitaciones a todos esos padres que ven el beneficio de inculcarles sus raíces a sus hijos.

El performance fue dirigido por Rosalia Chapa y Jose Sada.

Joey estuvo representando el estado de Guanajuato con la canción Bien Arribeño.

Me encanta fotografiar la cultura y la diversidad que existe en nuestra raza humana. Pienso que nos acercamos mas los unos a los otros mediante el enriquecimiento cultural.
