1. The Best Photography Spot in Pearland : Shadow Creek Nature Trail
In this blog post you will find the best photography spots in Pearland. It’s a blog that is in constant progress, so reference it consistently for updates.
The most recent opening of Shadow Creek Nature Trail in Pearland deserves the first place. This is a very well thought out trail because it offers several resting stops through the 1 mile or so walk. The resting spots offer sitting, shade to cool off, and a view to the wetlands.
So yes, that’s the thing, unlike any other park in Pearland, this trail offers wetlands, which is great for bird watching-listening. It’s definitely a very relaxing walk.
I took these photos May 18th, just so you get an idea of what you can expect in the spring. There were some flowers right off the bat by the parking lot. The rest of the trail had white and purple wild flowers with plenty of tall grass on the sides if you want that look.
I will definitely be going back in the fall because I discovered, at the very back, this trail has the plants that flower in the fall. They are found very accessible so I wouldn’t even need to have my clients step into the grass, which is a big win for me! The plants I’m talking about flower yellow and white the last week of September and the first two weeks of October. If it’s too windy, the white flowers fly off because they have a cotton consistency.
As far as the wetlands, you can definitely access some of them. There is even people starting a community garden at the very first one on the left side. I saw a lemon tree and a loquat tree.
